My rides since then have been really good, too. Jay has been happy and willing. I have been trying to ride him long and low. I still need to get some ground poles to work him over as the vet suggested, but in the meantime I have just been trying to work him correctly without them. We have still been doing mostly walk with some trot.
The farrier was out again September 12th, this is his third time shoeing Jay, and he is also very pleased with Jay's overall progress, and with how Jay's feet are doing.
This is something I have never done before, but I have some video of us from last Saturday to share. Feed back and constructive criticism are welcome and appreciated!

Nice videos. I thought both the walk and trot video were good. I think he should be moving a bit more forward in both the walk and the trot, pushing him into the contact. He stayed nice in the transition and your hands were very quiet. So many people dont keep their hands in the same place and they dont open and close their elbows. But you do that, good job. Also, you change your diagonal at the end of the rein change/crossing the diagonal, which is correct.
Overall great job!!!
Congratulations on the weight loss! You look great.
I was also very impressed with how quiet and steady your hands were. I think I might even be jealous... I never have been very good about keeping my hands still at the trot.
Glad someone on here is riding! I think I'm going to do the lease, but right now work is crazy and it's raining every day and if it's NOT raining her owner is out, so who knows when I'll get on her again.
You and Jay look wonderful...and I second the You look GREAT! I am so impressed with your weight loss and fitness!
I agree that you could push Jay more so he's really in front of your leg...or he might get used to hanging behind. I'm having that issue w/ Skate right now at the walk b/c I've let him putz along at a stroll and now I'm wanting him to move out and accept contact.
Otherwise, the saddle looks like it fits you well and you need to bring him to the show at TTC : )
