Skate had 4 days off before my ride last night - but he was generally good. I rode with my barn owner...and we spent a good deal of time walking around just chatting. Ha. This did piss Skate off when I finally got back to work - he thought work was over! I had to do a LOT of circles to get his fussy little butt to slow down, but we ended with some nice canter work.
How's that for a short post? Ha.

haha Skate. I think that most of them say "crap, I thought we were done", when you go back to work. Yay for a good canter at the end.
Sounds like a good ride. You had fun relaxing and got to work on the "we're not done until I say we're done" attitude. That'll be useful for when you take him to shows.
