Veered off our path Friday on the way to West VA to Tennessee to see a lovely 8 yr old TB. He is a CUTIE! A beautiful large-boned grey Argentinian TB (OTTB), was shown hunters for a few years after being imported until he bit his young owner (Ouch!). She then became terrified of him so they donated him to a rescue type place where he's been chillin for about 6 months. They are very honest about his issues and have put some work into getting his manners back and I really can't tell that he's any worse than Hobbes, who can be mouthy, too. They told me he is very picky about his people and if he doesn't like you, he wont work for you. He liked me, apparently, cause we went around the arena no problem and I LOVED him. Such a nice horse. Great for dressage...he is a nice mover and well-trained.
Anyhoo...got a lesson tonight on Hobbes. I'll keep you updated.

OOOO We will need pictures before helping you decide. haha
I have a thing for big grey TBs. He sounds nice though and you can fix the biting.
did you take any pictures? When are you going to decide to buy or not?
