Thats right, I cantered Mandros today. He has been doing well trotting, and the owner wanted me to canter a couple strides to see how he felt/looked. It felt good. He is still having some trouble with the left lead, but he did pick it up for me, but would hold that lead. Im a little concerned and really hope that it gets better. She wants me to start cantering him one 20 meter circle each way, each time I ride.
His wound is looking better. It still looks gross and its draining, but not as much, and its closed up a little more every time I see him.
My husband (a.k.a my photographer) had to work today, so he couldnt take pictures. Maybe I can take my camera and take some shots in the mirrors.

YAY! I'm glad he is coming along, and hope he only continues to IMPROVE!
I'm so glad he's doing so well! And speaking as someone who HAD surgery on her leg, sometimes these things just take time to heal 100%. Keep the faith though because I'm certain he'll be back to normal in no time!
Pictures in the mirror - do it!!!
Yay Mandros though! :) I'm sure Jennie really appreciates all the help you're able to give with rehabbing him.
Yay! I'm not surprised that he's a lil sore/off -- it takes time to heal and is sometimes hard to get back into shape.
