But does ground work count? I finally got Mr Cowboy into the round pen last night. Considering its been quite a few weeks since Ive asked him to do ANYTHING, I thought he was reasonably cooperative. There were a few rodeo moments and a few pinned ears (WTH) when I asked him to trot to me. That was new.
Ive had SUCH problems with my feet of late, its been too painful to do anything, but yesterday was so pretty I had to do SOMETHING. I kinda paid for it today my feet HURT. :::sigh:::
In other health news, the chastetree berry powder has continued to work MIRACLES for his anhidrosis. Ive never been so happy to see sweat ! lol

I vote a BIG YES that groundwork counts! You can accomplish a LOT with groundwork!
YAY FOR SWEAT!!!! I'm so glad to hear the chastetree berry powder is working! Anhidrosis can be SO hard to manage in this hot and humid climate. Please keep us posted as to how it is working.
I'm so sorry to hear about your feet hurting, though. Have you seen someone? I know how bad it is to have foot problems. I have had 2 surgeries on my left ankle and 4 on my right. I do love my Ariat boots, though. I'm guessing Mary can empathize here, too?
Glad to hear his anhidrosis is well managed! :)
And ground work counts, yes!
I agree - ground work counts! I hope your foot issue can get resolved soon - good news on the anhidrosis
Absolutely ground work counts! I'm glad you got to go out and do somethng with him at least, even if it wasn't riding!
And yes, I can sympathize with feet problems too. I second Christie- go see someone if you haven't yet. I can give you some good recommendations if you need me to- just pm me!
