So, I really was doing groundwork with him. Until I got heatstroke/ heat exhaustion one day and then decided that maybe coming out at noon wasn't the best idea after all! Not a big deal though, right? I just come out at night and work him.
Yeaaaaaah.....I forgot about his promise to get even for the 'extra clean' part of his bath the other day. I came out the next day and what do I find??
His leg wound has opened back up
He has fungus ALL over his hind legs
He has hives all over his hing legs
He has a giant 'scratch' that is bleeding and is attracting ALL sorts of bugs to it on his hindquarters.
AND he has a series of scratches/bug bites (not hives!) on the inside of his hind legs.
(sigh) Next time my horse threatens me with retaliation, remind me to stay away from the barn for at least a week!

I'm sorry Mary, that kinda stinks.
OMG, Pepsi! stop hurting yourself and getting back at your mom!
I hope he will get better soon.
Awwww PEPSI!!!! Bad horse!!!
Poor Mary - I hope things pick up for you soon. :(
Silly horse! Sounds like he needs a padded pasture. HAHA
A padded pasture is right! (sigh) I'm doing what I can, but this is all stuff that you just have to wait for it to clear up on its own!
Oh, I'm sorry to hear about Pepsi's challenges! I hope he's beginning to do better!
